Consulting Research for Other Film Makers and Writers
In addition to the research David does for his own books, articles and screenplays, he also performs this service for filmmakers, screenwriters, historians, and museums.
David has consulted with on multiple historical documentaries including for National Geographic's “Heroes of the Sky: The Mighty Eighth Air Force”, which aired globally in prime time on May 21, 2020, and can still be streamed on multiple services.
Mr. Barrett has also worked with Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum on two topics, the post-World War II occupation of Japan and the German POW Camp Stalag Luft 1.
